The business display name is initially set up during the embedded sign-up flow. A business phone number display name is the name that appears in WhatsApp chat thread headers, chat lists, and its profile, if the following conditions are met:
- The business portfolio that owns the WhatsApp Business Account associated with the business phone number has completed business verification.
- The business phone number's name_status is APPROVED.
Meta will reject your business phone number's name_status to DECLINED in case of non-compliance to display name guidelines. You can edit your display name and resubmit the same in case of rejection.
