  • Can I customize the OTP templates?

    Yes, Plivo offers default OTP templates, but you can create custom templates that support brand name, OTP, and OTP expiry variables from the console. Custom templates can be localized for specific languages using the 'locale' parameter when creating sessions. For assistance on this, reach out to our support team.

    Please note that custom templates have to be created and used via the Locale parameter itself. Custom Templates are not an independent offering to the Locale offering, they are fundamentally the same.

  • Does Verify support localization of OTP messages?

    Yes, Verify supports localization for SMS templates. You can configure different language settings using the 'locale' parameter (e.g., "en_US" for US English or "fr_FR" for French). For the voice channel, however, only English is currently supported. For assistance on this, reach out to our support team.

  • Can I use custom OTP codes in my application?

    While using custom OTPs is not recommended, Verify API offers you the option to send custom OTPs. Contact our support team to enable this featured for your Plivo account.
