To ensure a seamless flow of outbound messages from your Powerpack, Powerpack intelligently switches between using Shortcode and other numbers in your Number pool. If you are seeing messages not being sent with Shortcode as source, the reasons might be:
Prioritize Shortcode feature flag is disabled for your Powerpack. By setting this flag to False, Powerpack is configured to not use Shortcode numbers in the Powerpack as source.
Destination Country is not supported by Shortcode. Shortcode numbers are country specific and can only send messages to countries they were provisioned for. If your Powerpack does not have a Shortcode belonging to the destination country, Powerpack will automatically fallback to using other numbers in the Pool.
Destination Network is not supported by Shortcode. Plivo maintains a list of mobile networks supported by the Shortcode in your Powerpack. In cases where the destination mobile network is not supported, Powerpack will automatically fallback to using other numbers in the Pool.
