In case you already have a Short Code, you need to port it with Plivo before being able send/receive messages using it. 


In order to port-in a short code, we need the below details:


1. A Letter of Authorisation from existing service provider

2. 3-month payment receipt: If the payments were made on quarterly basis, we need 1 receipt. If the payments were made on monthly basis, we need 3 receipts

3. Short code number


Please note that we do not port-in shared short codes.


Once we have all the details, we will submit the port-in with our carriers. It usually takes 4-12 weeks for the port to be completed.
