The possibilities for a call to have echo can be due to any of the below reasons,

  • Latency

    • From caller to Plivo platform or

    • From Plivo to underlying carrier or 

    • Underlying carrier to callee

  • Jitter 

  • Headset or microphone issues

  • If the caller is close to the callee

  • Other telecom factors involved on a call
