Your Short Code may be subject to an audit by the CTIA or by individual carriers for compliance. Plivo also takes a proactive approach to ensure that your campaign is compliant. In the event that the Short Code is found to be non-compliant, we will work with you to regain compliance. You are typically given a week to resolve any issues. If the issue(s) have not been resolved within the given deadline, your Short Code will be at risk of suspension.
If your short code is suspended by a particular carrier, it will take at least 30 days (or possibly longer) to restore service because it must go through the carrier’s provisioning process again to be re-approved.
