Voice Alerts, developed by Plivo, is an advanced monitoring system that detects anomalies in voice traffic in real-time. Using sophisticated algorithms, it identifies and resolves potential issues swiftly to ensure reliable and efficient voice calls.
The system monitors parameters such as calls per second (CPS) utilization, errors in callback posting, configuration errors, and call patterns. Upon detecting an anomaly, Voice Alerts sends an email to the customer, prompting quick resolution.
2. What are the channels through which I will receive these alerts?
Currently, Voice Alerts are sent only via email. It will be sent to all the email addresses that you have added within the Voice Alerts section on the Plivo console.
3. What are the different categories of Voice Alerts?
Voice Alerts monitors several voice traffic parameters, including:
- Call dequeue delays
- Errors in reaching callback URLs
- Configuration errors

- Calls to premium/shared cost numbers
- Calls to repeated destinations or within the same range of numbers
- Short-duration and zero-duration calls
- Calls to high-risk countries

6. Can I monitor these alerts for any specific subaccount?
Yes, you can create and monitor voice alerts for specific subaccounts by navigating to the Plivo console → Voice → Settings → Voice Alerts and setting alerts for any category.
7. Can I send alerts to additional email addresses?
Yes, you can configure up to 10 additional email addresses to receive Voice alerts. Go to the Voice Alerts page in the console, select the alert you want to configure, and add each email address to the email field by pressing "Enter" to add the next one.
8. How can I stop receiving these alerts?
Log in to the Plivo console and navigate to Voice → Settings → Voice Alerts. Disable the alerts you no longer require.
