Supporting Documents for Phone Number Port-in Within Console

Q: What documents are required for Porting-in US and/or Canada Phone number to Plivo?

A: To Port US and/or Canada Phone numbers, the following documents must be submitted to Plivo: 

  • Letter of Authorization (LOA) signed by the authorized user and/or owner of the phone number(s). Please note that the information in your LOA must match the authorized username and service address provided by your current carrier. Based on the service availability or coverage for a phone number, we may request a PIN number or the account number that is associated with the phone number(s). If you are already aware of the PIN/account number, please include those details in your LOA.

  • Invoice: A copy of your most recent phone bill within the last 30-60 days, which contains your account name, authorized username and billing details for the phone number that you wish to port.
