How do I know if my application is having an issue?

If your application encounters 4xx or 5xx status codes while making an API request for an outbound call or SMS, or during an inbound call or message execution, it may indicate an issue. To proactively monitor such issues, you can set up Voice Alerts on Plivo. Voice Alerts actively track voice traffic anomalies in real time and can detect configuration errors that may lead to call failures. These errors can include invalid XML responses or other misconfigurations.
