Can I record a call in stereo or mono?

Calls at Plivo can be recorded using one of two types: mono or stereo.

Recording using API

Calls that are recorded using the API will be always recorded in mono, meaning that the audio will be recorded using a single channel. Audio will be mono for both the formats, .mp3, and .wav.

Recording using XML

Calls that are recorded using the XML will be always recorded in stereo, meaning that the audio will be recorded using two or more independent channels. Audio will be stereo for both the formats, .mp3, and .wav.
