Country requirements for Sender ID registration

Sender IDs are specific to each country. Every country has certain regulations with which Plivo and its carriers need to comply.

  • For certain countries, Sender IDs are dynamic, meaning that they do not require pre-registration with the respective carriers for that country.
  • For other countries, Sender IDs do require preregistration with the respective carriers.

What countries require Sender ID pre-registration?

Sender IDs must be pre-registered for the following countries. Messages may not be delivered if the Sender ID is not pre-registered.

Belarus, Cambodia, Egypt, Nepal, Norway, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Turkey, United Arab Emirates
