What is the admin role?

A Plivo standard account can be managed by multiple users based on the access provided to each user. Plivo offers five predefined roles that can be enabled from your Plivo account.

These five predefined roles are:

  1. Owner
  2. Admin
  3. Developer
  4. Finance analyst
  5. Support

This guide will cover the access granted to users in the admin role. 


An admin can have access to the entire console. This means a user that has admin access has the same permissions as the owner of the account.

You can enable the admin role from the user tab by creating a new user and granting them with admin access. Screen_Shot_2020-05-21_at_5.03.30_PM.png
The admin can view and edit the following features on the account:

  • Phone numbers
  • Payments and billing
  • Settings
  • Credentials of the account
  • Application & configuration

The admin can also view the logs of the account and pricing details.
